so today we FINALLY got our christmas tree!! i am so happy about that. It finally seems like christmas time. We are putting lights and pretty ornaments on it! I just love the tradition of listening to christmas music and decorating the tree :)

so tomorrow i have my history exam, which is my last exam. THANK GOD!
i am very excited to have it over with....

and i after this final i am sooo excited for christmas time :) just relaxing will be something very foreign to me lately.
christmas time is all about loving others around you. i am so excited! i love christmas morning and unrapping all of the presents and watching my mom and dad open theirs too!!! so excitinggg!

until christmas comes i will be relaxing like a mad woman. watching many christmas movies, chillin with some friends, sippin some hot cocoa. oh and did i mention that i am so excited to get over 7 hours of sleep a night! yay.

candle light mass

so, I went to our schools candle light mass last night. I really enjoyed everything about it. The priest was really funny and talked about kindness. I think that is such a good message to have around the holidays because christmas is all about giving to others. This christmas i am motivated to help someone in some way no matter what it is.This message he gave to us really inspired me. I love the christmas spirit. It was so amazing with every high school girl carrying a lit candle. It was so meaningful and spiritual. also my favorite part of it was after mass we went on the grass outside the church and sung holiday christmas carols. it really felt like we were all one big family. then we had yummy pie :)

I love this ARTIST SERIES IPOD SKIN! although i do not own an ipod in this model, i still think its very creative! It makes me want to listen to some Beatles or something!! its $15.00

so earlier in the year i was obsessed with the keep calm and carry on poster etc... so when i found the survival kit i just cant seem to let it go! anyone who needs a little stress reliever from their day should get these so when they look at their bandage they really truely will keep calm and carry on :) oh and the whole kit is only $8.00

the SCALLOPED WALL JEWELRY RACK for $18.00 is a very cute way to keep your jewelery organized. i know i need something like that!! This would be a great stocking stuffer if the person your stuffing (their stocking) is in love with jewelery!

The PINS AND NEEDLES CONVERTIBLE GLOVE is a very trendy glove for the winter season. everyone needs a good, cute pair of gloves when its freezing out!! these are only $16.00, and they are soo cute.

I am in love with the LOMOGRAPHY DIANA DREAMER CAMERA. i dream about it when i go to sleep at night. I think anyone who enjoys capturing the sentimental moments in life would adore this camera! and ya it looks expensive, but for a camera, its only $65.00!!

These VINTAGE FILIGREE STUD EARRINGS!! they are so dang cute. I think anyone with pierced ears would love to look in their stocking this christmas to find these pretty studs hidden inside :) and they are only $14.00

hey!! so some trends that i love for right now. I love these boots. This winter i reeallly want a pair of leather amazing boots but not quite sure what kind to get. have any suggestions? i have been trying to search for my perfect pair. not yet found. another amazing trend that i have been seeing is big and sorta flashy necklaces. hey so another trend of the day... i really like this scarf. i want itt!! its from urban outfitters and i love scarves. they are my winter obsession! i also reeeeeallly like this ring. when i dont have a ring on it makes me feel so wrong. i always must have a ring on!! so these things are not that wintery looking but i think they could work with winter things. I really enjoy them both && hope you do too!!

soo today i was thinking that i really want to get some boots. i dont know if i want short cow boy boots or westerny ones. help me choose!! and the other thing i am dying for is a purse that fits my personal style. I really like this one from marc jacobs, i even like the color. it is so funky and cool. hey! i have been soooo busy lately and not had any time to blog. so i have made time finally!

I wanna just say that i love this new book from teen vogue that informs us of "an insides guide to careers in fashion" and you no me. i want to go somewhere down that path. i am yet to read all of the book but i am so excited to. yaay. i will tell ya what i get out of the book when i finish. :)

this weekend is a weekend full of studying. I have many tests next week to get through. History is one of the tests next week. we are studying about the age of discovery and the beginning of the african slave trade. I can not wait til monday is over :) I have faith that i will do good on all my tests next week. I am very excited for next weekend tho!

MY NEW OBSESSION!!

hey there! so i have been really slacking on my blog posts lately, sorry bout this!

i finally found a spare moment to sit and write. SOOO, on to my new found love...

TOMS SHOES :)) they are the coolest shoes ever. if you dont have a pair, GET SOME. i usually love shoes for the way they look. but these shoes, they are different. not only are they very fashionable, but they also serve a purpose! for every pair that is bought, one pair is given to a child in need of shoes in sayy, africa. I LOVE THIS CONCEPT!! it is so great that it even inspired me to start a club at my school. Fashion for change is what i am calling it. soo thanks to toms shoes for the inspiration. xoxoxoxooxox

OH NO! not school!

school is near, which means two things. one of them i am very excited for. that is seeing all my friends. the other is homework. ehh. and also sitting in classes. so in order to make my binders and such a little bit more fun, i have decided to make collages for all my binders! this is a very lengthy task. i have so many magazines to go through! you have to go through cutting the cute clippings out, then laying it all out, then glueing. oh how i hate glueing. haha. they can spice up all your binders. i am very excited to finish them! haha.

BONJOUR! im back from paris!! omg i dont know how to even express how amazing it was. i really really enjoyed spending time with my cousin caitlin and auntie julie, and of course my mom and dad :) all of the people are oh so chic! it was great. 

So, ive decided to change up my blog a bit. im going to make it much more FASHION oriented! i have recently stumbled upon this website called the uniform project. I really liked the concept. it was a girl who has one dress that she will wear for 365 days straight! she accessorizes every day differently. i am so inspired!! i will be putting great fashion finds and so on my splendid blog of mine! haha just kidding :) hope you enjoy!!!

gladiators on the loose

 gladiator sandals are ALL the rage right now. i myself just bought about four pair! i love them so much. they started out as just something that these weird fighters wore, or others might call them Jesus sandals. but they developed into something awesome and fun. they go with almost everything, and usually they are super comfortable! these shoes are so nice in the summertime. another great thing about gladiator sandals is they are not just some rubber flip flop you can find anywhere! each one is quite unique. i have about eight different pair and none look a thing alike! they are great. they look awesome if you wanted to pair them with anything, for example; a pair of skinny jeans, a flowey skirt, a pair shorts, or a dress. THESE THINGS ARE AMAZING! how could you possibly live without gladiators? i couldnt imagine life without them.

so today, i have been figuring out what to bring to paris. this is a very very very difficult task! i have almost all of my outfits set to go... just a few things that i need. I am getting super excited. this is a cute outfit. other outfits may be like this that i want to wear...

So, i recently got back from camping in the trinity alps. It was a fun week. We camped in wooden cabins, swam in the freezing cold river, we ate many ice creams, and did bunches of puzzles. But now that i am back from roughin' it, i must pack for my next trip; PARIS! I am so excited for my trip, but i am not crazy to pack. i really dislike packing, but hopefully this will be different! I am a person who likes to be fun with my colors when i dress, but apperently, paris is different. i have been reading up, and it seems like all they wear is BLACK! ahh. i love wearing black, but still two weeks of only wearing black? im not sure if i can handle that and i really dont want to look like a tourist! i have got basically 7 days to pack what i need. My cousin who i am going with, tells me i should bring things that i normally wear on a day to day basis. Thats a bit of a problem because i dont wear to much black. Another thing i am a wee bit scared for is my french. i took french 1 this year at school but i am scared to actually speak it in the context. Overall, i am so excited for my first time in paris.
